“Cultural Reproduction” explores the interplay of tradition, ritual, and technology. Drawing from childhood memory and a balance between abstract and conceptual depiction. The work uses ceramic permanence and the ephemeral nature of fiber and multimedia, symbolizing interconnected cultures. Inspired by transient traditions, the hyper-abstraction reflects on elemental themes of self-imposition and introspection. Conceptually, it explores landscapes and technology; environment and ideas that make up the elements of culture and how it is experienced. By its abstraction, I give license to the imagination, maintaining traditional preservation through change. The collection reflects on shared humanity, intertwining the sacred and digital in a celebration of interconnected stories.
